Themes

Tiggzi Mobile App Builder comes with a large number of out-of-the-box themes you can use. You can also create any number of custom themes. When you create a new app, the default theme is set to Tiggzi dark-gray theme, swatch A.

To see a list of all available themes, go to Project and open Themes:


jQuery Mobile themes folder contains the 5 standard jQuery Mobile themes: A, B, C, D, and E.  The rest are Tiggzi Mobile App Builder themes and all are simply custom jQuery Mobile Swatches. Every Tiggzi themes has 5 different swatches. 

Changing themes

To change theme, go to page properties (click outside phone frame) and select a new theme:


To be able to select a Swatch from a different theme, click More themes link (Or open Project > Project Profile), select new Theme and then set the Swatch you want to use:


To view any out-of-the-box theme, simply select the theme to open it in theme editor (in read-only mode). 

Creating new theme

  1. To create a new theme, select Project > Create New... > Swatch
  2. Enter Swatch name, and select in which theme folder (category) you would like to place the custom theme
  3. Click OK. 
  4. Visual theme editor will load where you can edit any theme settings. 
  5. Once done editing, save. You now can set this new theme (Swatch) as described above. 

Managing custom themes

To see all custom themes created, select Project icon (from top menu) > Assets... > Theme assets tab. You can rename, start editing and delete a theme you created.
