Testing your app

There are 3 ways to test your app:
  1. Desktop Web browser
  2. On the mobile device, in mobile Web browser
  3. Using Tiggr Mobile Tester to test native apps and mobile Web

App link visibility

By default, the app link is private. In other words, you only can access the app. When testing the app in the same browser (in a different window or tab) where Tiggr Mobile Apps Builder is running, you can access the URL because the session is shared between windows/tabs. If you want to test the app in different browser, on a mobile device or send the app link to someone else, you need to make the app link public by checking Public:

Desktop Web browser

At any time during development click Test > Launch in a Web Browser to test the app. Make sure you enable pop-ups for *.gotiggr.com domain.

You may also just click Test button - the default action will launch the browser:

On the mobile device, in mobile Web browser

There are a number of ways to test the app on your mobile device.
  1. Scan the QR code shown just above Launch in a Web Browser button.
  2. Email app link to your mobile phone
  3. You may also open http://gotiggr.com on a mobile device. Sign in with your email/password. You will see a list of your mobile projects. Click on project to test the app in mobile browser.
